HAPPY 2010. doesn't that sound peculiar to say? its not a year that rolls off the tongue...its, awkward. ANYWAY, welcoming the new year was conducted in a typically teenage fashion; rose wine bottle in one hand and my best friends paw in the other. coincidentally, she was also my new years kiss as R decided that NYE is decidedly unimportant and it is not a requirement to spend it or by the same logic, our two year anniversary together.

$ym's party was, however, an absolute success (so stop worrying now silly!) and the night was finished up with feet tucked under knees on sofas, spooning homemade vegetable stew into hungry mouths whilst watching Fast & Furious (purely for Paul Walker, you understand). perfect!

uni is fast looming round the corner, and i cant wait to get back! ive already accquired a reputation for wearing flowers in my hair, and this term i am going to notch it up a gear and introduce arthropods into the equation! i got a set of differently coloured butterfly clips for £6 that i craftily pin into my hair and resemble some sort of walking insect house.
